'What?! No foam?!'

We care about the environment, which is why we have no palm oil in our products. Palm oil is in almost everything! But palm oil plantations and the associated deforestation are having a devastating effect on the orangutan population. So, who wants foam when we can protect the world’s orangutans?

FAQs

What’s wrong with toothpaste in a tube?
By maintaining the toothpaste in a gel state, it requires many more ingredients to stabilise the product and prevent bacterial growth. PÄRLA is a dehydrated toothpaste tablet, which means we are able to remove a lot of those unnecessary ingredients. Additionally, toothpaste tubes are made of mixed materials, which means they are mostly not recyclable and are therefore a single use product.
Is PÄRLA cruelty free?
Yes none of our ingredients are tested on animals. Nor will anything about PÄRLA affect their habitat.
Why does PÄRLA not foam as much as my old toothpaste?
We care about the environment, which is why we have no palm oil in our products. Palm oil is in almost everything! But palm oil plantations and the associated deforestation are having a devastating effect on the orangutan population. So, who wants foam when we can protect the world’s orangutans?
